This policy explains what SpadesBid collects when you visit the site, play the game or use the score keeper, and why.

No account needed

You can read every page, play the game and use the score keeper without an account. We don’t ask for your email address or any other personal details.

What the game and the score keeper store and send

  • In your browser: the score keeper’s scores, team names and house rules are kept in your browser’s local storage on your device. Nothing from the score keeper is sent anywhere. Clearing your browser data removes it.
  • The game, in your browser: a random player ID, the name you type, the house rules you chose and your display settings (large cards, faster animations) are kept in your browser’s local storage. Clearing your browser data removes them.
  • The game, on the server: the game page connects to the game server only when you pick a mode. The server is run by our sister site Rare Pike (rarepike.com). Your player ID, your name and your moves go to it, and it deals the cards and runs the computer players. It may keep game records and win and loss counts by player ID. Other players at your table see your name.
